3 Reasons Why You’re Falling off the Fit and Healthy Track (and how to get back on)

If you’re someone who’s Falling off the Fit and Healthy Track and still struggling to get back on

……then this blog post is written just for you:)

You are not alone.

Many people struggle to find the motivation they need to achieve the goals they’ve set out.

It does beg the question, though…..

Why aren’t more people working out? Eating healthy? Prioritizing sleep?

I mean, seriously folks, we all KNOW it’s good for us, however, why aren’t we doing it?

Take a good look around you. Where are all the fit people?

I remember growing up and we all seemed to be quite active and healthy.

Running around outside, riding our bikes, hanging out with friends playing ball.

Now I see and hear so many people frustrated with themselves that they’ve stoppped being active and  ‘let it all go’.

They’ve left it so long.

Still struggling.

Still ‘Falling off the Fit and Healthy Track’.

This saddens me because I know we can do it!

We can do a better job of taking care of our bodies.

Instead of feeling tired, stressed and trapped.

Just imagine having energy, strength, and vitality back into your own hands!

If you’re someone who’s still Falling off the Fit n Healthy Track – don’t despair!

There IS a way to get back on and I am here to help.

But first, let me take a step back for a moment with a deep yoga breath.

Ahhh

When I think of solving a problem as big as this, I first seek to understand

So, that’s what I have been doing.

I have been giving this a lot of thought and have summed it up to these 3 reasons.

3 reasons why you’re Falling off the Fit n Healthy Track and how to get back on!

1. LACK OF CONFIDENCE

You lack confidence because you don’t know what to do. You’re not clear on the Nutrition and Fitness plan you’re on OR you don’t have one.

I get it. The health and fitness space can be very confusing and contradicting.

Some of the most common questions are –

Is it okay to have beets on a Keto Diet?

Will putting MCT oil in my morning coffee take me out of Ketosis?

Can I have oatmeal in the morning and still lose weight?

Do I need to limit my eggs to reduce cholesterol?

It’s confusing because the answers I see are all over the board and not consistent.

Not only that! Some of the most confusing (and downright damaging) health advice out there is –

Better heart health starts with trading sugar for low-calorie artificial sweeteners like Acesulfame potassium (Sunett, Sweet One), real butter for fake ‘fat-free’ butter substitutes made with heart-healthy canola oil (what??), and carefully watching those ‘carbs’ or you may get fat!

Sheesh, no wonder you’re confused!

How to get back on track –

Your success with anything must start with a good solid plan. Kinda like having the map before entering the forest.

I highly recommend you find a health expert who can mentor you with a good solid Nutrition and Health Plan. Then you’re the only job is to follow it, ask questions and tweak as you see fit.

Looking for a Personalized Nutrition Plan that’s simple, takes the guesswork out and gets you in the best shape you’ve only dreamed about?

Let me design one just for you! Go to Get one on one help. Start now! What are you waiting for?

2. LACK OF CONSISTENCY

Not being consistent leads to chaos, standstill, and no real results. Period.

On the flip side, moving forward in your health and fitness goals leads to momentum, which then gets results.

There’s no question. Consistency wins the race!

How to get back on track –

Get your plan. Take action and do the steps daily until it is second nature to you.

Practice, practice, practice.

I always share with my personal clients that ‘You’re in training with me’.

What? You’re a Nutritionist, not a Personal Trainer.

Yes, however, I am showing you how to train your body to ‘burn fat’ to get clean and lean. Instead of burning sugar all the time keeping you overweight, tired, and unproductive!

We are in this together, training your body to be healthy again. It’s a journey.

3. LACK OF COURAGE

Those that give up lack the courage to keep going and get what they want.

Something gets in the way, seemingly all the time.

This is a red flag to me saying that getting healthy really isn’t a big enough focus for them. Which is fine – just do not expect positive health results. Period. End of story.

However, if you REALLY want it, take action and find someone to help.

How to get back on track –

If you really do want to get back on track, start with a vision about how your life would look like if you DID?

1 month from now. 6 months. 1 year?

What would your life look and feel like if you were confident and back into those ‘skinny jeans’, being consistent and playing with your kids (without pain), having the courage to move forward, feeling happy and fit n healthy again!

Now go out there and learn it, live it, and love it! We all need to do a better job getting healthier and fitter. Our families, communities, and world needs you!

If not now, then when?
